The Internationalists is proud to welcome renowned teacher and actor Ira Seidenstein to
New York for this exclusive opportunity. This workshop is ideal for any performer interested
in exploring and expanding their physical and creative capacities.

In this workshop Ira will introduce exercises to locate an integrative approach to Body, Space,
Time & Space/Time Continuum called "The Four Articulations." This workshop isolates specific techniques and principles that can be applied and adapted to any play, playwright, director, or artistic aesthetic. "The Four Articulations" starts with a normal physical exercise that introduces a concept of "Weight and Wait." Here, Ira shows how these exercises can try the actor to be in their own body and how that will directly enhance ones acting. These exercises also show the relation between the yin/yang of comedy/tragedy or acting-and-clown.

Ira has taught at Australian national institutions including NIDA, NICA, WAAPA, Bell Shakespeare Company and The Actors Centre. Internationally he was worked with Cirque Du Soleil, The San Diego Repertory Theatre, The Eureka Theatre of San Francisco, The Commedia School in Scandinavia, and he is mentor to a wide range of theatre practitioners.
